Enjoy summer with live music in Ripon Spa Gardens
White Rose Concert Band is a community music group for adults, which began in 1976.
They practise and perform as two amateur bands – a Training Band with musical director, Steve Heninghem and a Main Band with musical director, Taneli Clarke.
The musical directors encourage the band to play a wide range of music – anything from pop, jazz, folk and film themes to arrangements of classical music and challenging 20th and 21st century wind band music.
They perform regularly in formal concerts throughout the year and on bandstands during the Summer months. They have also received gold and platinum awards for performances at the annual National Concert Band Festival.
Band times are occasionally subject to change to accommodate other events or activities within the park.
