Join a celebration of Ripon’s local charities, public service providers and voluntary organisations, on Saturday 9th of March, between 11am and 2pm.

The free family friendly event is jointly hosted by Ripon Cathedral, Ripon Library and the Ripon Museums, with over 40 different stands, a pop-up café and performances by various local choirs, dance groups and poetry readings spread across the three venues.

This is an ideal opportunity for local residents to meet local public and charitable service providers, discover more about their services and get direct answers to related questions.

It is also a wonderful marketplace for current and potential volunteers: local residents interested in donating either a small or large amount of time, can chat to representatives of local charities and voluntary organisations, to find their best fit.

Ripon Cathedral events will include bell-ringing, bell-tower tours (advanced booking required as spaces are limited – please sign in for the tours at Ripon Library), singing and dancing.

Ripon Library will offer a children’s a story-time for under 5s, a Lego club for 6 to 12-year olds, knitting and crochet taster session and a chance to join in with short taster of some dances that can be done seated and standing with and Dancing for Wellbeing, on top of information stalls.

There is also free entry for local residents to all 3 Ripon Museums (Workhouse, Prison & Police and Court House) upon production of a proof of address in HG4 postcode.
