The first half features a wide-ranging programme: Chopin’s “Aeolian Harp” Étude, Beethoven’s Pathétique Sonata, Bach’s Prelude in B minor (arranged by Siloti), Debussy’s Images, Book 1, and Scriabin’s Étude Op.8 No.12. After the interval, Okada performs Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition live, accompanying a screening of London City Ballet’s production, choreographed by Alexei Ratmansky.

Reina Okada has been praised for her interpretation of the work, with Bachtrack noting her ability to capture the grandeur of the Great Gate of Kiev, the humour of the Chickens and the menace of Gnomus.
