Join us in the centuries old tradition of racing with pancakes along Kirkgate in Ripon on Pancake Day

• The races will include clergy, cathedral staff, local residents, schoolchildren and Ripon businesses

• Team sizes – up to 4 people. Team sign up – sign up on day outside the Cathedral

• Prizes – children (participating as part of school groups) will get a chocolate treat and certificate and adults participating in teams representing local businesses, friends and groups will get to compete for the coveted title of Ripon Pancake Race supreme champions 2025

• Starting on the sound of the Lenten Bell at 11am which signifies the beginning of 40 days of fasting
