Heritage Projects offer a new way to volunteer

Made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Ripon Cathedral is providing innovative digital volunteering opportunities that allow new and creative ways to approach our collection.
Being a digital project, we are able to take a fresh approach to creating volunteering opportunities. Participants can work remotely and are provided with all the training and resources they will need. They are not bound by traditional voluntary roles but can take creative ownership over the work they produce.
If you are interested in history, architecture, art, theology or digital media and would like the opportunity to explore, research and create original content then this is the role for you. You do not have to have previous experience, just enthusiasm!
Suggested projects could be:
• Building interactive tours
• Creating informative videos
• Writing blogs for our website
