How Stean Gorge are offering 4 days of canoeing trips from Ripon Canal to Baroughbridge

Join us on an unforgettable canoe expedition as we paddle along the calm canal and the faster river waters to reach our final destination of Boroughbridge.  Ripon is one of the most historic cities in the country and this is where your exciting all day canoe trip will begin.

You’ll meet our How Stean Gorge outdoor adventure team at the Canal Basin in Ripon, where you’ll get kitted up and introduced to the equipment you’ll be using during the day.

Time: 10am – 3.30pm

Full Day Canoeing Sessions:

The journey usually takes between 5-6 hours of paddling with plenty of rest.

From the serene Ripon Canal, you’ll join the faster-flowing River Ure which will take you through picturesque countryside including traditional villages and Newby Hall which eventually leads to Boroughbridge.
