A Word from the Chairman
Dear Ripon BID Businesses:
During Ripon BID’s first five-year term I am immensely proud to say that we will have, invested over £850,000 back into our city, delivering projects that directly support local businesses, improve the trading environment and make Ripon a more vibrant place to live, work and visit.
Even more exciting, we’ve gone above and beyond expectations by securing over £176,000 in additional grant funding and external income – that’s a 31% increase on what we originally promised in our first-term business plan. This extra funding has helped us do
even more for Ripon without increasing the cost to you.
Everything Ripon BID delivers is over and above what the local council provides – from marketing and events to safety initiatives, street improvements, and business support. And now, with the creation of the much larger North Yorkshire Council, having a strong, local voice that speaks up for Ripon businesses is more important than ever. Your continued support means we can keep driving investment into our city, championing your interests and making sure Ripon doesn’t get left behind.
