FREE! First Aid Training
Ripon BID is delighted to be able to offer 8 days of FREE First Aid Training to Ripon Businesses
With funding from UK Shared Prosperity Fund, administered through North Yorkshire Council, Ripon BID can offer this free training which, upon successful completion and the passing of a small multiple choice test paper, results in a Level 3 in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, valid for 3 years (Qualsafe accreditation/fully certified).
We have the following dates currently available (click on the date you wish to book to access Eventbrite booking form):
This is a full days course and will be held centrally in Ripon with a maximum of 12 people on each day.
A small refundable deposit will be required to secure your place (deposits are non-refundable for no-shows or cancellation less than 7 days before course).
The course will cover topics such as:
– Scene management
– Unresponsive person
– Airway management / choking
– Breathing assessment
– CPR and AED
– Bleeding / wounds
– Medical emergencies
– Burns
– And more
The training is practical and hands on so comfortable clothing is recommended for the day.
This training is offered to any Ripon business – you do NOT have to be a BID member to benefit.
