Alannah told Tim Flanagan of the Rejoicing in Ripon Blog: “War Child does such important work to help children at an ever-increasing number of conflict zones across the globe and I feel so lucky to be able to perform for the charity and raise awareness of what it does, in the peaceful surrounds of Studley Roger.”

The 23-year-old, who also plays the piano and acoustic guitar, added: “My theme is ‘Lessons in Love’ and the lyrics are inspired by the range of emotions from joy to sorrow that people experience in their lives.

“I describe my music as a mission designed for healing and I hope that it helps listeners to gain inner peace.”
