Rejoicing in Ripon: Just say ‘cheese!’

The post‑festive season can often be a bit of a downer, but one independent Ripon retailer is putting some joy into January designed to make shoppers smile.

Fresh from the Christmas crackers 🎄✨, James Potter has compiled the cheesiest jokes he could find to go alongside the range of fine artisan-made cheeses on offer at The Little Truckle in the Arcade, where he also owns and runs The Greengrocer.

He told the Rejoicing in Ripon Blog:
“A little bit of humour goes a long way 😁 and throughout the remainder of January we are inviting customers to join us in having a chuckle at The Little Truckle.”

He added:
“When I decided to expand the business, Ripon was the logical next step 📍 following the success of our Greengrocer shop in Bedale, and I was delighted to find such a great location on the route from Market Square to the city centre’s main car parks.”

James pointed out:
“We have received a warm welcome from the community 🤝 and have discovered that Riponians enjoy a good laugh and like to share a joke while finding out from our cheese expert Becky Hutton about the local, regional, national and international choice of cheeses we have on offer.” 🧀🌍
